The schools in the municipality of Tsarevo have successfully replaced the plastic bottles and cups used by students with reusable chrome-nickel cups.
The pilot initiative for the region was also accompanied by an informational and educational campaign among lockal children and is part of the activity of the project to raise public awareness on the topic: Zero plastic in schools.
The goal is not only to reduce the use of single-use plastic products and the generation of waste, but also to make this a sustainable trend by educating children in a responsible attitude to the environment.
